Vacuum Insulation Panels

The thermal conductivity in vacuum insulation panels (VIPs) is about ten times smaller than in conventional, non-evacuated insulation materials such as mineral or glass fibres or polystyrene or polyurethane foams. VIPs with the same insulation thickness as conventional insulation materials therefore insulate about ten times better.

Thermal insulation systems using VIPs are particularly attractive when saving space is essential. In high density urban areas VIPs enable architects to maximise a buildings internal floor area and provide increased return on investment.

va-Q-tec panels provide the ideal solution for insulating buildings where space is restricted and is effective when applied either internally or externally.

Our va-Q-tec insulation system provides an ideal renovation solution providing passivhaus levels of insulation with only a 40mm thick panel.
